WA Country Team Athletes Shine at the 2025 Bigham Cup

The Bigham Cup was established in 2021 to give opportunity for national State team representation at competition for Women's Artistic Gymnastics level 6 and 7 athletes in the smaller states and territories, namely ACT, TAS, SA, NT and WA. This event is named in honour of Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics South Australia Life Member, Anne Bigham.

Sarah Lehmann to represent Australia in Aerobic Gymnastics

Congratulations to Aerobic Youth International Athlete Sarah Lehmann (NDGC) who has been selected to represent Australia at the upcoming XP Gymnastics Nationals in Auckland, New Zealand, the Plvodiv Cup in Plvodiv, Bulgaria and the Aerobic Korea Open in Busan, Korea.

Western Australia’s talented gymnasts brought energy, determination and grace to the 2025 Border Challenge Competition, held over two exciting days of high-level gymnastics. With 50 athletes in Level 7, 40 in Level 8, and 22 in Level 9 from across the country, the stage was set for a thrilling contest between the states.

The 2025 Australian Gymnastics Championships, held in July on the Gold Coast, wrapped up after nearly 3 amazing weeks of competition. Exceptional talent was showcased from across the country with Western Australia delivering one of its strongest performances in recent history, earning 86 medals and celebrating multiple national titles.
