The inaugural WA Country Team attended the 2021 NT Invitational in Darwin on 18th & 19th September. This team was comprised solely of athletes from regional WA and competed against athletes from South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

WA Country Team Athletes Shine at the 2025 Bigham Cup

The Bigham Cup was established in 2021 to give opportunity for national State team representation at competition for Women's Artistic Gymnastics level 6 and 7 athletes in the smaller states and territories, namely ACT, TAS, SA, NT and WA. This event is named in honour of Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics South Australia Life Member, Anne Bigham.
